Lace Boots

It all started with an idea a crazy one of sorts. My best friend, Lilly, was talking to me and she gave me a challenge to create something, original, unique and me. We both ferociously worked on design ideas and we quickly became inspired. She by a raspberry and me, well , it just came to me. I quickly texted Lilly my idea and I finally got to sketching it about 2 days later.
The original sketch

Once the sketch was complete I knew I had to make them. I went to many stores searching for the perfect boots, lace, everything. About a week and a half later they were complete and here are the final product.
I took some pictures slapped them on Pinterest and my friend Lilly noticed them and we decided to create a collection together, The Lace Collection 2014. I will release more of my designs and maybe a few of Lilly's if they become available to me. Thank you so much for reading and leave questions or comments about this design or future ones.

My Journey Into Design

As a child I dreamed about many things. It ranged from money to fame. As a young child I dreamed of being a singer/song writer. This dream I knew was a long shot but I was okay with that being 7. At 8 my cousin, Kelsey, introduced me to design. She taught me how to do it and I gave up fairly quickly. Fast forward two years, Easter morning 2011, I was thrilled to find a book full of stencils to design with.
I drew in it non-stop for about a year ,and, before I knew it, I had filled it front to back. At twelve I had an interest in things YouTube(especially Macbarbie07), Archery, and Fashion. By this time I had moved to Arizona thousands of miles away from my family and friends these things calmed me down and let me catch a break from missing my home.
By December 2012 I took up blogging. I posted designs, tips and YouTube Videos. By this time fashion started to be my life. I started dressing better, reading fashion tips, and most of all designing. I kept in touch with all my friends and my success inspired others. My B.F.F., Lilly, took up design as well. During the summer of 2013 Lilly and I designed every chance we got together and decided that designing was what we were going to do for a living.
Today, I'm 13, I still blog, and most important I still design. Look for my stuff on the runways of the future. Look out Chanel here I come!
